Western Plains Energy finishing up North America’s largest biogas digester
In Kansas, the final construction stages and preparation for start-up at North America’s largest anaerobic digester are underway at the Western Plains Energy ethanol plant in Oakley. The facility, built by ICM, will process 1,200 tons of plant waste per day. It was designed by HiMark Biogas from Edmonton, Alberta.
