Fiji strives to meet 30 percent biofuels target set for 2015

In Fiji, a report in the Fiji Times is highlighting efforts by the Secretariat of the Pacific Communities’ (SPC) to implement a 30 percent biofuels target by 2015, and focuses on the construction of a biofuels mill in the the village of Tabiang, on the island of Rabi. Rabi Council of Leaders director Marlie Rota said “We are closely working with the ministry as per the vision of SPC to replace fuel by 30 per cent with biofuel in 2015.”.
