Raizen expects ethanol and sugar production to jump 10%

In Brazil, Raizen expects its ethanol and sugar production to increase by 10% during the crush that is schedule to start in the coming weeks. Ethanol production should hit 2.2 billion liters while sugar production will reach 4.4 million tons. The split between sugar and ethanol will lean more towards sugar this season, with just 42% ethanol production rather than 44%. The company expects ethanol exports to increase 20% this year.
