RFA says E15 could provide up to 7 billion gallons in additional demand

In Nebraska, Renewable Fuels Association president Bob Dineen says that boosting to an E15 mandate rather than E10 would provide an additional 6 or 7 billion gallons of ethanol demand, well beyond the 2 billion gallons that are currently idled while leaving plenty of room for advanced biofuels. The NEDAK ethanol plant in Atkinson has been on warm idle since June and is currently up for sale.
