Port of Rotterdam reports gains in biofuels volumes

In the Netherlands, the Port of Rotterdam’s throughput of biofuels increased 24% in 2012 to nearly 6 million metric tons. The gains are attributed primarily to biodiesel, as the throughput of ethanol dropped by 17%. Imports from France sharply increased.
