Philippines implementing long awaited E10 mandate on April 1

In the Philippines, the country’s long-awaited E10 policy will finally begin on Monday. Local environmental group Kaibigan ng Kaunlaran at Kalikasan (KKK) is seeking studies from the government, if any, showing that E10 would not be harmful to the national fleet. It claims that none have been undertaken since E5 was introduced in 2007, setting the stage for E10 by 2011 that was then later delayed.
