Argentina swaps soy oil exports for biodiesel in light of EU trade spat

In Germany, Oil World says that Argentina’s biodiesel exports have fallen so much as a result of trade disputes with the European Union that it is instead exporting soy oil. Biodiesel exports during January/February fell by half on the year to just 155,000 metric tons. February exports to the EU were just 45,000 tons compared to 145,000 tons during February 2012. February exports of soy oil, on the other hand, soared to 230,000 tons, up from 150,000 tons during February 2012.
