Biofuels Digest Index slides to 68.01 as advanced biofuels tank

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.39 percent to 68.01 as advanced biofuels tanked.  For the day, Valero (VLO) dropped 4.27 percent to $40.60, while KiOR (KIOR) lost 4.43 percent to $4.10. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) slumped 4.42 percent to $2.16. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
