United Refining’s new biodiesel facility to come online within a year

In New York, construction of the 7,175 b/d biodiesel facility in Calverton, on east Long Island, that United Refining bought out of bankruptcy in February for $47 million from Metro Terminals should be completed and online within a year. The company currently buys B100 for blending.
