Farmers get 40-cent premium for Enogen corn to offset stewardship costs

April 23, 2013 |

The premium is also meant to compensate for farmers having to have a 30-foot border of non-Enogen corn around each field. Stewardship and contracting was done online last season, a process which seemed to go well for Syngenta as well as growers.
