Indian oil ministry may have to rein in prices offered for ethanol imports

In India, the oil ministry may decide on the price paid for ethanol imports because the offers made are nearly twice the price as those paid for domestically produced ethanol at a recent tender. The LOIs have already gone out for 110 million liters of domestic ethanol while the LOIs for the remaining 440 million liters are still in process.
