Indiana state appeals court slams IDEM air pollution rules for ethanol plants

In Indiana, the state appeals court has ruled that the Department of Environmental Management wasn’t allowed to unilaterally relax air pollution standards for ethanol plants, circumventing the EPA. The department is consulting with lawyers as to what the ruling really means and if they will be seeking an appeal.
