Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 71.51 as ethanol, advanced biofuels rise

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.51 percent to 71.37 as advanced biofuels surged alongside ethanol equities. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) gained 2.41 percent to $1.70, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) soared 14.53 percent to $11.35 after hitting an all-time intraday high of $11.50 on its earnings announce. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) added 4.98 percent to $2.74, also after announcing Q1 results.  Overall, advances led declines 9 to 4 for the day.
