May 3, 2013 |

“If you have not done so already,” the UN Foundation writes, “we encourage you to nominate eligible women with 10–15 years of experience working in the clean energy sector for the 2013 U.S. Clean Energy Education & Empowerment (C3E) Awards. This is especially a great chance to recognize women who are dedicated to bringing sustainable energy solutions to developing countries.”

The U.S. C3E Awards are part of a program led by the U.S. Department of Energy in close partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The six 2012 winners, including Dr. Laura Stachel, the co-Chair of the Practitioner Network’s Energy and Health working group, were recognized at the 2012 Symposium and received awards from the MIT Energy Initiative.
