DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio collaborates with RML to Develop Bio-Based preservative

In Delaware, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company have partnered with RML, Inc. in creating a new line of alternative preservatives called PolyGuard.

The PolyGuard line features the proprietary ingredient Zemea propanediol. RML designed its new preservative line, PolyGuard, capitalizing on the ability of Zemea to boost preservative efficiency along with its proven lack of irritation in cosmetic and personal care products in combination with the natural preservative, e-polylysine, which is derived through the fermentation of bacteria. The PolyGuard line has two preservative blends – PolyGuard BA and PolyGuard CG.
