Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 75.63 as advanced biofuels gain

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.65 percent to 75.63 as advanced biofuels surged. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) soared 10.18 percent to $1.84, while Solazyme (SZYM) escalated 4.93 percent to $11.49. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) rocketed up 8.98 percent to $14.44. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
