Biofuels Digest Index drops to 74.85 as advanced biofuels fall

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.60 percent to 74.85 as advanced biofuels fell. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 6.24 percent to $10.81, while Amyris (AMRS) declined 5.56 percent to $2.89. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) rocketed up 23.68 percent to $0.47. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
