On the Move in Biofuels: Growth Energy, RSB

In Washington, Growth Energy added Jim Miller as Vice President and Chief Economist; Miller most recently served as the Senior Policy Advisor on the Budget Committee under Senator Kent Conrad (D-N.D.), and was formerly Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agriculture Services at USDA.

In Virginia, the RSB Services Foundation, a global sustainability standard and certification system for biofuel production, is pleased to announce that Dr. Dan M. Martin of Washington, D.C., has been elected as a member of its Board of Directors.  Dr. Martin is Chairman of the Phelps Stokes Fund, and is a long-time grant-maker, environmentalist, educator, and nonprofit manager. For many years, Dr. Martin was Director of the World Resources and Environment Program at the MacArthur Foundation in Chicago.
