VIASPACE Signs Giant King Grass contract in Philippines

In the Philippines, VIASPACE announced it has signed a Giant King Grass supply contract with Sagay Central, of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Sagay is a sugar milling and sugar growing company, producing  150,000 tons of sugar per year.  The Giant King Grass biomass will be used for electrical generation. No details financial details or details about the electrical plant were disclosed at this time. VIASPACE reports that the initial payment has been received and their agronomist visited the Philippines recently to meet with Sagay.
