Phillips 66 to Sell Two Major Refineries in Ireland

In Ireland, Phillips 66 has engaged Deutsche Bank to sell its assets at Whitegate and Bantry, in West Cork, by the end of the year. The Whitegate facility produces unleaded gasoline, auto diesel, central heating oil, liquid petroleum gas, and blends biofuels. The company also operates a crude oil and refined products terminal in Bantry Bay that employs 27 people can store up to 7.5m barrels. The facility is of national strategic importance as the Irish National Oil Reserves Agency (NORA) is a major long-term customer.
