Malaysian Oil Palm Mills Secure Supply for Joint-Venture in Sabah

In Malaysia, 10 oil palm mills have committed to supply oil palm biomass to their joint-venture company, Lahad Datu Biomass JV Cluster, in the easternmost state of Sabah. The mills include major plantations such as Teck Guan Group, Bell Group, Genting Bhd, Kelas Wira Sdn Bhd and Golden Elate Sdn Bhd. Now that supply is secured, the joint-venture company will decide whether to produce pellets or liquid biofuel.
