Ethanol Tanker Truck Spills 1,500 Gallons in Tennessee

In Tennessee, an estimated 1,500 gallons of ethanol spilled in Dyersburg due to an overturned tanker truck. The truck was carrying a load of 7,500 gallons of ethanol and rolled over twice, but the driver sustained only minor injuries. Dyersburg Fire Chief Bob Veal reported that the spill was not dangerous, but hazardous materials crews from Nashville and Memphis were called to assist with the anticipated 2-3 day clean-up.
