In Nebraska, the number of flex-fuel vehicles and ethanol blend pump stations are growing. There are currently 84 stations that offer fuel above E10, an increase of 40 percent since January 2012. At least 58 of those 84 stations offer E85 blends. The decision of which ethanol blends to sell is up to the fuel retailers. Thanks to grants from the Nebraska Corn Board and the state’s 23,000 corn farmers, supply and demand are growing in the state.
