1000 project bioeconomy database launches, from Biofuels Digest SuperData

June 24, 2013 |

SuperData-FreeAccessSuperData just became more super.

Every project around the world is now available, operating and planned (through 2018) — including complete project, technology, feedstock, product, and contact data.

Plus, the SuperData wiki launches today  – add or modify up-to-the-minute data on yours or partner projects, in real-time.

Astute readers of the minutiae of conference announcements will have noted, in the announcement last week for the ABLCNext conference, an unusual and unprecedented add-on. The note confirmed that all conference delegates will receive 12-months of something called “Gold Access” to something called Biofuels Digest SuperData, with a value of $999. What exactly is that? Well, we are delighted to make three announcements here in Digestville this morning relating to project-oriented data.

SuperData Gold Access

First, we are announcing that, yes, delegates to ABLC Next will receive a full license (Gold Access) and user ID for the monster project database that the Digest has been accumulating all this year — and ultimately based on 20,000 articles we have published since 2007 on first- and next-generation biofuels technologies and projects.

The full 1000 global project database covers every existing and planned (through 2018) bio-based technology project, world-wide, and includes:

Project Name
Location, including address, city, state, country
Feedstock
Processing Technology
Technology and customer partners Products (including fuels, chemicals and bio-based materials)
Project capacity
Website
Contact information for key executives, including name, job title, phone and email
Corporate contact information (for companies with multiple projects)

For planned projects we have projected project completion timelines, milestones, and details on development partners.

SuperData Free Access

Second, we are releasing our Free Access (version 0.91 Public Beta) edition of our database covering existing projects now in operation around the world, which includes:

Project Name Location, including address, city, state, country
Feedstock
Processing Technology
Products (including fuels, chemicals and bio-based materials)
Project capacity Website

The Free Access version can be downloaded for free and includes numerous pilots, demonstration and first commercial projects for advanced biofuels – as well as many first generation projects.

As of today, Digest readers around the world can take immediate advantage of SuperData Free Access by downloading the excel-based data right here. Yep, it’s free. We’ll continue also to provide free access to our collection of more than 150 presentations, reports, white papers and industry roadmaps, via SuperData.
