Angola’s Biocom project to begin ethanol and sugar production in 2014

In Angola, the $197.5 million Biocom is ready to begin ethanol and sugar production in 2014. The company, owned by Brazil’s Odebrecht and the Angolan government will produce 30 million liters per year of ethanol and 260,000 tons of sugar along with 28MW of electricity for the national grid.
