Biofuels Digest Index rockets up to 73.39, in biggest one-day gain since 2011

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, rocketed up 4.14 percent to 73.39, the largest one-day rise in more than 20 months. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) soared 18.42 percent to $5.85, while Ceres (CERE) surged 18.11 percent to $3.13. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) plunged 15.38 percent to $0.33. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
