Maine company providing biodiesel for touring music bands

July 3, 2013 |

In Maine, Maine Standard Biofuels is providing biodiesel for touring bands this summer, from Phish to the Barenaked Ladies. Reverb, founded nine years ago, helps touring bands and festivals go green, and MSB is supplying the fuel to do just that. The company produces biodiesel from waste oils. The deal is expected to boost the company’s biodiesel demand to 1 million tons per year from 500,000 tons currently.
