Biofuels of Las Vegas receives BQ-9000 certification from NBB

In Nevada, Biofuels of Las Vegas has received BQ-9000 certification from the National Biodiesel Board, making it the first Nevada producer and among the first 50 biodiesel producers in the country to be certified. The plant, which producers 4 million gallons per year, went through an extensive review and quality control process by an independent auditor in order to receive the certification. The BQ-9000 accreditation includes the ASTM D6751 quality standard for biodiesel, as well as considering a system of storage, sampling, testing, blending, shipping, distribution, and fuel management practices.
