Stora Enso to build Finnish biorefinery

In Finland, Stora Enso will build a biorefinery at their Sunila pulp mill in southwest Finland, investing 32 million euros for the project. The plant will be up and running by late 2015, and will create turnover of 80 million euros per year. Stora Enso is looking into the lignin business, anticipating an ability to sell the polymer for speciality chemical and high-tech material manufacturers.
