The annual rankings competition opens up for the hottest companies in the sector; who will be #1 – who will get your vote?
Voting by Twitter expanded this year; Facebook voting added.
Hottest Industry Partners, Hottest Bioenergy Places; Hottest R&D Partners in Bioenergy now joined to the main competition.
In Florida, Biofuels Digest announced the official opening of nominations for the 50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy for 2013-14, and 30 Hottest Companies in Biobased Chemicals and Materials for 2013-14.
Nominations
You may place a company, Industry (Supply Chain) Partner, R&D partner or a Place in nomination, here. All companies that receive a nomination will be included on the ballot, along with last years’ Hot 50 and Hot 30.

Voting Rules
Selector voting will be open to all registered subscribers of Biofuels
Digest and invited selectors; this year, votes may also be cast via Twitter and Facebook — and Photo Voting.
This year, votes will be weighted as follows: 50% based on votes received from the invited Panel of International Selectors; 50% based on votes received from registered subscribers of Biofuels Digest and Biobased Digest (including votes posted via the Digest’s official ballot, Twitter or Facebook).
Announcement of results at ABLC-Next in San Francisco – October 10, 2013 – and gala event.
Nominations will remain open through August 23. Voting will begin August 26th and continue through September 20. Rankings will be announced at ABLC-Next in San Francisco on October 10, 2013 at 6pm PT, honor the ranked companies, their R&D Partners, their Industry Suppliers, and the states and towns where they locate.
