Southern Utah biodiesel producer sets up shop to supply interstate trucking

July 29, 2013 |

In Utah, Pleasant Valley Biofuels has opened its doors in Washington City where it plans to produce 1 million gallons of biodiesel annually from used cooking oil. The facility is located along a main trucking line between California and Colorado in order to take advantage of truck demand for biodiesel blends along the route. The company says it is different because it wants to stay local, serving local companies and eventually helping the cities to switch public transport over to biodiesel.
