Pacific Ethanol shareholders want exec pay reviewed annually

In California, 49% of Pacific Ethanol’s shareholders voted at its AGM in June to approve executive pay on an annual basis, rather than every three years as had been the case previously. The board of directors has recently officially approved the change. The company finally moved into a profit the second quarter of this year with $1 million in profit on $233 million in sales.
