May biodiesel production up again at 111 million gallons

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency says that biodiesel production continues to increase, with production hitting 111 million gallons in May, up from 106 million gallons in April. Most of the production takes place in the Midwest, or roughly 67% of the national total. Soybean oil was the feedstock for 54% of the total biodiesel produced.
