Philippines updating biodiesel standard to be inline with international specs

In the Philippines, the Dept. of Energy is updating its coconut biodiesel specifications to bring the fuel into line with national and international fuel quality standards. The policy, which is meant to facilitate higher biodiesel blends in the future, includes changes to improve oxidation stability and sulfur content as well as dealing with carbon residue, iodine number and total contamination.
