RIN prices sink 17% ahead of EPA announcement

In Illinois, ahead of news that the EPA would announce the final rule on biofuel blending mandates for 2013, RIN prices sank by 17% to 85 cents on Tuesday, according to Bloomberg data. Ethanol prices gained just over 1% ahead of the EPA announcement.
