Webinar to discuss impact of ethanol on legacy engines

In Iowa, August’s Bioenergy Friday Web Seminar will be held August 30th at 10 AM (CST) and will cover “Ethanol Use in Legacy Engines.” This webinar will look at the interaction of ethanol with different materials found in older engines. The speaker is Edwin Brokesh of Kansas State University.  Brokesh will also look at the combustion process and what that may mean for the operation an older engine.

The goal is for participants to come away with a better understanding of the care and maintenance of an engine using ethanol containing fuels. The web seminar will start promptly at 10:00 AM CST.
