Philippines’ DOE wants to consult stakeholders before boosting to B5

In the Philippines, the Dept. of Energy wants to consult stakeholders regarding the possible introduction of a B5 mandate before issuing the policy. Currently there is a B2 mandate powered by coconut-based biodiesel. Coconut farmers want to boost their market share by the Secretary of Energy is worried about favoring one industry that could be detrimental to others at the same time.
