August 22, 2013 |

In Illinois, the Mano Metate Grain & Energy Commodities Plant, formerly Ag Energy Resources, in Benton that was eventually mothballed in 2010 will soon be re-launched with a front-end fractionation system. The 7 million gallon per year ethanol plant should be back online by the end of September. The system is Agrex’s only US-based installation, though it has 400 milling site around the world processing corn, wheat and rice. The Benton plant will process No. 2 corn with up to 25% sweet sorghum.
