In Minnesota, SarTec has gotten a lot of attention at the state fair where it has been showing a container-sized version of its biodiesel technology currently operating at commercial scale at Ever Cat Fuels in Isanti. The smaller version is targeted at farmers so they can produce all of their on-farm diesel needs. Though the pricing hasn’t been completed yet, the company expects the units to run around the same price as a combine, or $400,000.
