White House reviews 2014 EPA targets

In Washington, the White House is reviewing the EPA biofuel use targets for 2014 after receiving the proposal the week before last. Next year’s targets are due to be proposed this month, to be finalized by December, but are threatened if the decision on the 2014 numbers takes longer than anticipated. The 2013 requirements were only finalized in early August, 8 months after the legislative deadline.
