Xenia no longer set to produce biodiesel in Ohio

September 12, 2013 |

In Ohio, Xenia is no longer looking to build a $52 million biodiesel facility on a brownfield site in Dayton despite the city demolishing existing structures on the facility and providing funds for redevelopment. The company was unable to come up with matching funds to continue with the project. Site preparation will begin in March, this time without Xenia, but it hasn’t determined yet what it will build. But it won’t be producing biodiesel.
