Brazilian ethanol production up on year but lower than earlier in September

In Brazil, ethanol producing during the first half of September was up nearly 4% on the year at 1.88 billion liters but was down nearly 10% from the previous two weeks when 2.08 billion liters was produced. Total ethanol production for the season through Sept. 15 was 17.24 billion liters, up nearly 25% on the year.
