Pacific Ethanol remains questionable investment, despite improvements, says analyst

In California, Pacific Ethanol has returned to profitability in Q2 and is improving operating conditions in Q3, however Seeking Alpha still favors the company’s peers as an investment. However, despite the improving current ratio, ratio of total assets to total liabilites, and shareholder equity, the discrepancy between the company’s share price and those of peers Green Plains Renewable Energy, REX American Resources, and Biofuel Energy has only grown more pronounced.
