Competition watchdog throws out complaint against ethanol tenders

In India, the Competition Commission has thrown out a complaint against sugar mills supplying ethanol in tenders to the oil marketing companies. The complainant company said that the ethanol tenders would boost the price of ethanol for other uses such as rectified spirit as well as restrict its availability.
