East Coast ethanol stocks continue to shrink as Midwest production picks up

On the East Coast, ethanol stocks have reached the lowest point since the Energy Information Agency began keeping track in June 2010. The eight-week long decline goes against the trend in the Midwest where shrinking volumes there have begun to pick back up thanks to the start of the corn harvest and new ethanol production coming online.
