Scoular reopens Pratt ethanol plant

In Kansas, Scoular Co has reopened the Pratt ethanol plant after purchasing the 55 million gallon plant in 2011. The ethanol will primarily ship to Witchita, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa. The plant had been shuttered for five years until Scoular sold a stake in the operation to Pratt Biofuel, who have since become the company’s operating partner. Pratt Energy is a partnership between Scoular and Pratt Biofuel Investors.
