Vietnamese cruise line adopts biodiesel to reduce environmental impact

In Vietnam, Victory Star Cruises, a five – star luxury cruise under the control of Bai Tho Tourist Transportation Co Ltd, is a pioneer local company using bio-diesel to replace in current diesel with the support of Jica project. According to the experts from the National University of Hanoi, if the Victory Star used 5% of bio-diesel (mixed with 95% regular diesel) was able to reduce by 30% the amount of harmful gases discharged into the environment from the use of 100% conventional diesel today.
