Ethanol’s discount to Brazil narrows on mills hold back ethanol stocks

In Brazil, ethanol’s discount to gasoline has a four-month low due to slower ethanol production during a rainy spell in June. Millers are also holding on to more ethanol with the expectation that prices go even higher during the inter-crop period. The discount was $1.63 through Oct. 26.
