Biofuels Digest Index closes at 54.55 as advanced biofuels fell

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, closed at 54.55, down 0.91 percent, as advanced biofuels fell. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 6.51 percent to $3.59, while Syntroleum (SNNM) lost 7.79 percent to $3.79. Among other equities, Ceres (CERE) plunged 9.64 percent to $1.78Overall, declines led advances 11 to 3 for the day.
