Canadian cellulosic pilot still on hold after illegal discharge

November 19, 2013 |

In Canada, the Woodland Biofuels pilot plant still has not come back online after being shutdown on Aug. 30 following illegal discharge of 160,000 liters of process water into the storm drain. Despite the shut down, the wood waste to ethanol plant has been continuing to work on its chemical catalytic reactions to continue refining its technology. It expects to be back up and running soon.
